Who is responsible for your data
ElectiveCare ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal data you share with us through this website, including when you submit a contact request to a specialist listed on our platform.
What data we collect
When you use our contact forms we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any message or procedure details you choose to share. We also collect basic technical data (such as browser and device information) through normal website operation.
Sensitive health data
Messages you send us about a procedure, condition, or medical inquiry may include health-related information. Under Mexican data protection law (LFPDPPP), this is considered sensitive data and receives reinforced protection. We only collect it because you voluntarily provide it when requesting information from a specialist, and only for that purpose.
Why we use your data
We use your data to: (1) forward your inquiry to the specialist or team you contacted, (2) respond to your questions, (3) improve our platform, and (4) comply with legal obligations. We do not use your health information for advertising.

How long we keep your data
We keep the personal data of a contact request (name, email, phone, message) for up to 24 months after the last activity on that request. After that period, we permanently delete it, keeping only the specialty or procedure inquired about, the date, and the status, with no data that identifies you, for internal statistics.
